Our mission is to make everyone feel they can enter and run the Cornwall’s Backyard Ultra. Whether you plan to run 1 lap or stick it out until the end. Everyone will be treated, supported and welcome in the same way.
We would love to encourage teams, run clubs, friends and families to come and run together, support each other and be in it together. With camping on site available until the last lap is completed we would love for people to think of it as a weekend away with a run at the centre.
Cornwall’s first Backyard Ultra isn’t just a race.

Between Beduthan Steps + St.Eval
Start + finish of each lap will be in the Race HQ field near St Eval Go Karts
The course will be on Cornish country lanes with a lap up and along a section of the Coast Path at Bedruthan Steps. We would say it is more undulating than hilly but this should help with pacing your laps and ensure your body has a mixture or movement and terrains! (Route Map Coming Soon)
