Be the first to set the standard
This is the second stop in the Kent Backyard Ultra Series but the first time Dover features on the calendar.
No course records. No targets to chase. No local legends, yet.
Whether you’re aiming for seven laps or the win, this is your chance to set the bar and become the name future runners are chasing.
Location: Great Farthingloe Farm, Dover, Kent
Date: Saturday 10th January 2026
Start Time: 9:00 AM
Entry Cap: 120 runners
The Format
Run 4.167 miles every hour, on the hour
Finish in time? You go again
Miss the bell or fail to complete the loop? You’re out
The race continues until one person completes a solo yard
Only one runner finishes. Everyone else earns a DNF
Day Start
The race begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning, straight into the daylight.
You’ll start on the day loop and switch to the night loop after sunset.
The Course
Both loops begin with a long, steady climb.
The day route combines private road, flat open farmland, and a slightly technical descent near the end.
The night loop is a straightforward tarmacked out-and-back, no surprises, just movement.
Both are clearly marked and built to wear you down slowly, just as a Backyard should.
